I 75 Migliori Film di Fantascienza della Storia

The ranking of the 75 greatest science fiction films of all time was born from the desire to explore a cinematic — and literary — genre that I have always loved, and that I have been studying and delving into for years. It is not meant as a true battle for the top spot, but rather as a viewing guide enriched with anecdotes, stories, and historical context.

I 25 migliori piani sequenza della storia del cinema - in un unico piano sequenza)

Making a video about long takes… in a long take.

In this episode, we journey through 25 of the most celebrated long takes in the history of cinema, from Hitchcock to Paul Thomas Anderson, passing through Welles, Tarkovsky, Antonioni, Kubrick, Scorsese, Cuarón, and many others.

This is not a ranking, but a chronological path — a way to observe how cinematic technique has evolved over time, and how each filmmaker has used the continuity of the shot for completely different purposes: suspense, immersion, irony, tension, spectacle.

Only three of the films mentioned are truly constructed as a single uninterrupted shot from beginning to end. All the others use the long take as an expressive tool within a broader cinematic language.

All of it was filmed without cuts, in the extraordinary setting of Rocca Calascio — one of the most iconic and cinematic locations in Italy.

L'eredità che ci ha lasciato Stranger Things (e il mio parere sul finale)

Stranger Things was not just a successful series: it was a cultural phenomenon, an emotional bridge between past and present, capable of bringing a certain way of telling the fantastic back into the spotlight.

In this video, I look back on its legacy: the revival of the 1980s, the power of its imagery, and the sense of mystery and adventure that captivated millions of viewers.

The final season leaves an uncomfortable question hanging in the air: how much of that original spirit truly remains?

A personal retrospective — part analysis, part memory, part critique — on a series that, in any case, defined an era.
